Opening Day

Got out with Mark Z. for some Maitland fishing Saturday and Sunday. Bluebird skies made it more challenging but we did manage one each.
I hadn’t fished a Loomis GLX Dredger in years so I took one along for the trip and had a blast with it. Paired it up with an Airflo Skagit Compact 480, a T10 FLO tip, Emerald Shiner and it was fish on.
Crowds weren’t bad at all considering it was opening and we only had one issue with a guy low holing us, so all in all it wasn’t bad for opening weekend. Normally we would expect a zoo, but it didn’t happen.
