Lots of different fishing holes

Porcupine River and Agate River, U.P. Michigan

More ROFF hijinks as Wolfgang, John and I headed north to fish the Porcupine River in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I made my trip by first heading to Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on business then crossed the border there, heading south and west into the U.P. for the first time.

Looks like I have a fish on, but I’m actually snagged. Wolfgang saw me struggling with the snag and figured it would make a good picture.

All kitted out for the hike in.

Our first cabin, which was quite nice, including an external sauna.
